Defendant Takes Plea Deal in Feces Smeared Home Child Endangerment Case

SAN ANGLEO, TX – A defendant accused of allowing two babies to live in complete filth in public housing in north San Angelo has pleaded guilty.

According to court documents, on Aug. 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m., Eli Sarsosa, 22, of San Angelo, pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering a child with intent to return. In exchange for the plea, Sarsosa was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail and five years probation.

Sarsosa was arrested after investigators discovered a residence where he lived was filled with feces and discarded food. The main reason of the feces on the wall was because of the improper care for the children. Not only was the feces on the wall but on the child's toys and clothes as well.

Investigators alleged it the complaint that the feces on the wall had been crusted to the wall and that there was also fresh feces in the home as well. Along with the feces a strong odor of urine filled the residence.

Along with Sarsosa, two other suspects were arrested. Jaylin Deanda, the mother of the children, is set to take a similar plea deal on Monday. Third suspect, Samuel Jeter, has no court date set at this time.

Yep, probation should really teach them a lesson. I'm sure in the future they will always nurture and protect children.
