Dozens of Neglected & Abused Horses & Dogs Found Dead

MCKINNEY, TX – The mass death of dozens of abused and neglected animals was discovered by the Collin County Sheriff's Office on Friday.

According to multiple reports, on Aug. 4, 2023, Collin County Sheriff's Deputies executed a seizure warrant for all living animals on a property located on the 700 block of Graybill Rd.

At the property, located just 50 miles northeast of Dallas, deputies discovered a dozen horses and two dozen dogs that were deceased in various stages of decomposition. The animals were located in various buildings around the property.

CCSO was able to seize a handful of animals that were still alive. These included dogs, a cow, a lizard, and a snake.

The sheriff's office issued a statement reiterating that the office has a zero-tolerance policy on animal abuse. However, the statement did not specify who owned the property or who was responsible for the animals' deaths.
