According to our sources, the shooting in Christoval yesterday was a result of an altercation between a father and son. The father and son were walking north on the west side of US 277 from the convenience store. Witnesses said shouting could be heard. As the two passed Grumpy’s Liquor Store, they turned around, headed back towards the convenience store. The entire episode happened on the shoulder of the highway. When law enforcement withholds pertinent information, sometimes there is collateral damage to local businesses.
