Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Office Confirms Shooting in Christoval

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office confirmed a shooting Thursday afternoon in Christoval.

According to the TGCSO, on July, 20, 2023 at around 12:15 p.m., the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service regarding a gunshot victim in the 20700 block of US Highway 277, in Christoval. 

Law Enforcement arrived on scene and found a victim that was suffering from a single gunshot wound.  The victim was conscious, transported to Shannon Medical Center, and is in stable condition. 

The alleged shooter was located on scene and is cooperating with Law Enforcement.

There is no immediate danger to the community. This incident is still under investigation at this time.
