SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo man has been arrested after getting caught recording a woman in the shower.
Christopher Constancia was arrested and charged for invasive visual recording.
According to court documents, on May 26, 2023, a San Angelo police officer responded to the 1900 block of West Concho Dr. regarding an invasive visual recording. The officer spoke to all parties involved and relayed information to the investigator.
The investigator spoke to Constancia, who allegedly waived his rights and spoke about the incident. Constancia said that on May 26, he allegedly took a visual recording of the victim using his cellular device while the victim was in the shower and without her consent.
The investigator spoke with the victim, who said while she was in the shower, she observed the shower curtain move in a slight manner. Then, she stuck her head out of the shower and observing Constancia recording her.
Video evidence was submitted of the recording and the investigator observed Constancia recording in the bathroom and sliding the phone past the shower curtain in an attempt to view the victim in the nude.
With the combined statements, Constancia’s alleged admission, and other findings, Constancia was arrested and charged with invasive visual recording and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility. He was released on May 27, 2023, on $30,000 bond.
