GRAPHIC CONTENT: Water Valley Man Indicted for Brutal Lewd Assault Inside Pickup Truck

SAN ANGELO – A Water Valley man has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for sexual assault after allegedly assaulting a woman inside his truck.

According to court documents, on March 6, 2022, the victim was contacted by the defendant, identified as Keath Sharp, through Snapchat requesting to meet the victim so they could talk. The victim agreed and Sharp picked her up at her residence and drove about three miles away but still inside Tom Green County.

Sharp and the victim were talking about Sharp’s new girlfriend and how they were considering having a child together. Then, the victim said Sharp tried to kiss her. The victim said “no, what about your girlfriend?” but Sharp allegedly pulled the victim’s legs making her lay on her back.

The victim told Sharp to stop but he pulled her pants off and the victim then begged him not to do this and to think about his girlfriend. Sharp allegedly told the victim to just take it because they had done it before. He reportedly got on top of the victim even though she said “no” several times.

Then, Sharp allegedly inserted his sexual organ into the victim’s sexual organ, then moved the victim on top of him. Sharp then forcefully penetrated the victim's mouth with his sexual organ and then turned the victim over onto her back.

The victim was shown a photograph of Sharp’s driver license and confirmed it was Sharp who assaulted her.

Keath Sharp was interview and waived his rights agreeing to speak with investigators. During this interview, Sharp admitted to sexually assaulting the victim on March 6, 2022, in his truck.

On March 23, 2022, Keath Sharp was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility and was released the next day on $75,000.00 bond.
