GRAPHIC CONTENT: Tom Green County Man Arrested for Brutal Lewd Assault

SAN ANGELO – A San Angelo man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman inside his pickup truck.

According to court documents, on March 6, 2022, the victim was contacted by the defendant, identified as Keath Sharp through Snapchat, a popular social media platform. Sharp asked if they could meet so they could talk, to which the victim agreed.

Once Sharp arrived at the residence, the victim got into his truck and he drove the victim about three miles from her residence. The victim and Sharp used to be in a relationship during the summer of 2021 but were no longer together.

The victim said she and Sharp talked about Sharp and his new girlfriend and the possibility of having a baby with her. Then, Sharp tried to kiss the victim’s neck to which the victim said “No, what about your girlfriend.”

The victim alleged that Sharp then pulled her legs to lay her flat on her back in the passenger seat of the truck. She repeatedly told Sharp to stop but he did not and pulled the victim’s pants off. The victim begged with Sharp not to assault her and to think of his current girlfriend. Sharp allegedly said to the victim to just “take it” because they had done it before. The victim told Sharp “No” several times.

Then, Sharp got on top of the victim and penetrated her without consent. After this, Sharp forced the victim to perform oral sex on him and then turned her face down and penetrated her again for a third time without consent.

The victim was shown a photograph of Sharp’s driver’s license and she confirmed Sharp as the person who had assaulted her.

Keath Sharp was arrested on March 23, 2022, and is currently being held on $75,000.00 bond.
