Texas Inmate Takes Over TDCJ Bus, Crashes It, and Remains on the Run

 

CENTERVILLE, TX – A Texas Prison inmate took over a prison bus in hopes to make a remarkable getaway.

According to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, on May 12, deputies with the LCSO were alerted  to a situation two miles west of Centerville where a TDCJ inmate had taken over a TDC bus.

It was later learned that an inmate had over powered a security guard, took control of the bus, and then crashed it. After crashing the suspect got off of the bus and fled to a nearby wooded area.

As of now the suspect is still on the run.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for the unidentified man. The only description given was that he is a white male in TDC whites.
