Texas Rangers Investigating Officer Involved Shooting Death

 

MIDLAND, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety's Texas Rangers were called into Midland County on Monday morning after an individual was killed in officer involved shooting.

According to multiple reports, on May 1 after 9 p.m., officers with the Midland Police Department were involved in a shooting at the 2500 block of Castleford Rd. 

As per regular protocol with any officer involved shooting the Texas Rangers were called in.

The reason for the officers being there has not been released at this time. 

It is unknown how many people were shot but it was confirmed that no officers were injured.
