UPDATE: Missing Elderly Man with Dementia Found

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department is currently searching for an elderly person with dementia who is missing.

According to police communications, on Apr. 20, officers with the San Angelo Police Department advised that there is a missing elderly person.

The man, William Simmons, is a 5'8" black male in his 70s. He is wearing a baseball cap and navy blue sweat pants. 

He was last seen at Best Buy on Sherwood Way at around 2:15 but has been missing since. It is believed he was last headed east on Sherwood Way.

The man is said to have severe dementia as well as other major health problems.

If you have any information regarding the missing person contact the police department immediately.

UPDATE 4 P.M.

The man was located on the 3800 black of Sandstone, 1.1 miles away from Best Buy. 

An ambulance was called out to check on the man's condition.
