EAGLE PASS, Texas – Border Patrol agents assigned to Del Rio Sector’s Eagle Pass South Station encountered a large group of undocumented migrants after they illegally entered the United States near Rosetta Orchards in Eagle Pass, March 27.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., agents apprehended a group of 187 illegal aliens. The group included 154 individuals from Cuba and 33 from Nicaragua.
“Again, these types of encounters quickly exhaust our available resources and manpower,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens. “With large numbers like these, agents must be taken off patrol to focus on processing.”
During fiscal year 2022, Oct. 1, 2021, through Feb. 28, Del Rio Sector agents have encountered 153,271 migrants.
All subjects are processed in accordance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection policies.

While I do believe we are seeing record numbers of illegal immigrants, especially since Mr. Biden invited them, I can't help but notice that this picture has been used in previous articles about large numbers of illegals crossing the U.S. border. Maybe it's time for a new one?

PermalinkI have a friend with property 20 miles west of Sanderson, Texas. He was there a week ago and filmed a large group crossing over his place. Current pictures or not, you are right about them coming over in droves! Worst it has ever been and going to get even worse than that. We absolutely need that wall, at least to lower the numbers. I believe the only way to put a complete stop to it is bring in the armed forces and militarize the border. We are being invaded!
