Police Investigating Death of Man Involved In A Fight

ABILENE, TX –– The death of a 45-year-old Abilene man is currently under investigation.

According to the Abilene Police Department, on December 30th the victim, identified as Christopher Carrion, was involved in a fight with a 23-year-old male. The fight was described as mutual.

Carrion sustained several internal injuries and was transported to a local hospital on January 3rd for treatment.

Carrion would pass away hours later from the injuries sustained.

At this time, no charges have been filed against the other party involved. 

APD investigators are awaiting autopsy results as this investigation continues.
