Covid-19 Outbreak Delays Trial of Cop Killer

According to the court, several of the individuals who were involved in jury selection tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend.

In order to protect the jury and their friends and family, the court will be in recess until Tuesday, November 30th at 9:00 p.m.

During this time the jury will remain under oath and be prohibited from discussing the case among themselves, with third parties or letting third parties discuss the case in their presence.

The presentation of evidence will begin on November 30th.
