ROBERT LEE, TX – According to the Coke County Sheriff's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop that resulted in an arrest and seizure of drugs and guns.
According to Coke County SO, Chief Deputy Williams and Deputy Burdett conducted a traffic stop on a resident on Sunday.
When the deputies searched the vehicle they located a substantial amount of methamphetamine and two firearms.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants. He was then arrested and booked into the Mitchell County Jail.
The following charges were confirmed:
- Manufacturing / Delivering of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >4g <200g –– a first-degree felony with a punishment of 5 to 99 years or life in prison and a fine up to $10,000
- Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm –– a class A misdemeanor with a punishment of up to a year in county jail and or a fine of up to $4,000
