POI in Hailey Dunn Cold Case Finally Arrested

BIG SPRING, TX — The person of interest in the Hailey Dunn Murder case has been arrested after nearly a decade since the child went missing. 

According to jail records, on Jun. 14, Shawn Casey Adkins was booked into the Howard County Jail for Murder. 

Many have suspected Adkins of being the one who killed Dunn in 2010 but lack of evidence led to him being free. 

Now he is the Howard jail on a $2 million dollar bond.
