Grand Jury Indicts San Angelo Man for Stealing a Cadillac and Injuring the Driver

SAN ANGELO,TX- Sean Hunter Wisdom has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for aggravated robbery and evading arrest with a vehicle.

According to court documents, on March 17th, 2021, SAPD responded to Corner Stop located at 1302 North Chadbourne Street for a reported unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

A black Cadillac Escalade was seen by a witness and an officer with the SAPD located the vehicle. The officer was able to catch up to the Escalade and activated his lights and sirens. The black Cadillac took off and crashed.

Sean Hunter Wisdom was taken into custody.

SAPD met with the owner of the stolen vehicle at the same Corner Stop. The owner said he left the vehicle running with the keys in the ignition.

After a short time, the owner came out of the store and noticed Wisdom getting into the driver seat of the Cadillac. The owner ran to stop Wisdom from taking off with the vehicle and even had ahold of it while Wisdom was trying to drive off.

The owner was thrown from the vehicle and into the roadway and sustained injuries.

After SAPD reviewed security footage from the Corner Stop restaurant, it was confirmed to be Wisdom getting into the Escalade. Also seen was the vehicle’s owner being thrown into the road.

The vehicle had scuff marks on it where the owner was holding onto it and the clothing Wisdom was wearing matched the surveillance video.

Sean Hunter Wisdom was booked into the TGCDF on 3/17/2021 and is currently still an inmate.

Wisdom’s bond is $85,000.00.
