UPDATE: No Bombs Found in San Angelo Wal-Mart

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Walmart Super Center at S. Bryant Blvd. and S. Jackson St. in San Angelo was evacuated Wednesday morning after a bomb threat was called into the store. 

San Angelo Police and Firefighters were dispatched to the store after the threat was called in.

Officers were seen clearing the store as shoppers and employees looked on from the parking lot.  

Social media posts indicated shoppers were ordered out of the store because of a bomb threat.  

Officers on the scene confirmed to customers that they were investigating a bomb threat at the location.  

There is no evidence of an actual bomb at this time.

UPDATE: The bomb threat that was called in at the South Jackson Street Wal-Mart is all clear. No bombs were found inside the store.

Employees, who were outside for a couple hours, said the threat was called in.
