Coleman ISD Under Lockdown for Suspect with Firearm

 

COLEMAN, TX— Coleman ISD is under a lockdown after a suspect took a firearm into the school.

According to reports, the Coleman Police Department has taken a suspect into custody after allegedly taking a firearm into Coleman ISD.

The Coleman Police Department said on their Facebook page that one suspect has been taken into custody without incident. A thorough search of the school’s campus is underway to ensure no further threats exist.

No injuries have been reported.

Parents have been directed to the Bill Franklin Center to pick up their children.
