Man Arrested After Threatening to "Shoot Up" Walmart

 

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene man has been charged with making terroristic threats after he threatened the shoot up Walmart.

According to the Abilene Police Department, officers responded to a north Abilene Walmart around 7:00 p.m.

Witnesses at the scene told officers 42-year-old Ari Joseph Siu Lancelotta was inside the store yelling he was going to "shoot up the place."

They also told police they were worried Lancelotta had a weapon and could carry out his threat.

Officers located Lancelotta in the parking lot and according to officers he admitted to making the threat.

Lancelotta was charged with terroristic threat cause for fear of imminent bodily injury. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
