Police Find Body in Elementary School Parking Lot

 

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department has confirmed that a body was found at an Alief ISD Elementary School. 

According to HPD, on Nov. 9 at around 7:45 a.m., officers with the HPD were dispatched to the Collins Elementary School for the report of a body that was found in the parking lot.

It is unknown how the man died but police are guessing right now that he suffered an injury in the nearby neighborhood and walked to the school parking lot where he died. 

The name of the individual has not been named at this time. 

Here is a statement from Alief ISD:

“The safety and security of our students and staff is our highest priority.  The Houston Police Department is investigating a situation involving a deceased person found on the Collins Elementary parking lot.  To ensure the integrity of the investigation, no recess or any outside activities will be held today.”
