SAN ANGELO, TX – A Tom Green County grand jury indicted three suspects including; John Delarosa, Seth Allbright, and Matthew Clark, on Oct. 7 for the charge of Aggravated Robbery after the three men forced entry into a San Angelo home in early August and assaulted a male victim and his girlfriend, before making off with several stolen items.
Following a forced entry break-in off E 19th St on Aug. 4, 2020, a main suspect, who was later identified as 59-year-old John Delarosa, was arrested by authorities with the San Angelo Police Department just two days later on the afternoon of Aug. 6. After evading arrest for several days Delarosa's two accomplices were eventually apprehended by the SAPD following two arrests made on Aug. 8 and 10.
Delarosa's first accomplice, identified as 32-year-old Seth Allbright, was arrested at 3:08 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2020 and his second accomplice, identified as 45-year-old Matthew Clark, was arrested by the SAPD at 2:33 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020.
As previously reported, On Monday August 4 an officer with the San Angelo Police Department responded to the report of a robbery at residence near the 400 block of E 19th Street.
During a forensic interview with investigators it was revealed that three armed suspects, including two white males and one Hispanic male the victim knew to be "Johnny", forced entry into the victim's home through a back door and entered the residence without the owner's effective consent, before assaulting the victim and threatening his girlfriend with several weapons.
The victim stated that Johnny had entered his bedroom armed with a black revolver along with the two other male suspects who were also armed, but with a screwdriver and knife.
According to the indictment the victim gave a statement to investigators claiming that Johnny hit him in the face with the pistol, pointed the pistol in his face, and then traded the pistol for the knife from one of the other suspects before cutting the victim in his lower right abdomen area.
According to the victim, Johnny then threatened him and his girlfriend claiming that if they were to call the police, the men would all come back and kill the two of them. Shortly after Johnny and the two suspects fled the scene after stealing one the victim's televisions and two cell phones.
Following his arrest John Delarosa was positively identified from a photo lineup by the victim and his girlfriend, however the two remaining suspects Seth Albright and Matthew Clark remained on the run until their arrests on Aug. 8 and 10.
Nearly two months later a Tom Green County grand jury indicted the three individuals including; John Delarosa, Seth Allbright, and Matthew Clark, on Oct. 7 for the charge of Aggravated Robbery after they forced entry into a San Angelo home in early August, assaulted a male victim and his girlfriend, and stole several personal belongings from the residence.
