Robbery Suspect Arrested As Remaining Two Suspects Remain at Large

SAN ANGELO, TX – As previously reported, 59-year-old John Delarosa was arrested by officers with the San Angelo Police Department on Thursday August 6 for the sole charge of Aggravated Robbery where he is currently being held without bond for his involvement in a recent forced entry robbery.

On Monday August 4 an officer with the San Angelo Police Department responded to the report of a robbery at residence located off the 400 block of E 19th Street. 

Upon further investigation it was revealed that three armed suspects including two white males and one Hispanic male the victim knew to be "Johnny", forced entry into the victim's house through the back door, and entered without effective consent before threatening the victim and his girlfriend with several weapons. 

The victim advised that Johnny entered his bedroom armed with a black revolver along with the other two suspects who were armed with a screwdriver and knife. 

The victim gave a statement claiming Johnny hit him in the face with the pistol, pointed the pistol at his face, and then traded the pistol for the knife from one of the other suspects, before cutting him in his lower right abdomen. 

According to the victim Johnny threatened that if he were to call the police, they would all come back and kill both the victim and his girlfriend. 

Shortly after Johnny and the two other suspects fled the scene before making off with the victim's television and two cell phones. 

In a forensic interview the victim's girlfriend gave officers a corroborating story where investigators were able to confirm the involvement of all parties involved. 

Following his arrest John Delarosa was positively identified from a photo lineup by the victim, and his girlfriend, however the two remaining suspects identified as 32-year-old Seth Albright and 45-year-old Matthew Clark are still on the run.
