Deputy Shot While Serving Felony Warrant

 

SPRING BRANCH, TX – A Comal County Sheriff's Deputy was shot Thursday while serving a felony warrant in Spring Branch.

According to the Comal County Sheriff's Office, the deputy was at a residence in the 1400 block of Springwood when the shooting occurred.

The deputy was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was arrested at the scene and the Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting.
