Border Patrol Agents Locate Undocumented Immigrants Inside Stash House

LAREDO, TX — During an early morning raid the U.S. Border Patrol and deputies with the Zapata County Sheriff’s Office shut down an active stash house on June 25.

According to CBP, agents stationed at the CBP Zapata Station received information that alleged the house was used in an illicit operation.

When deputies and agents arrived, they located six individuals inside the house. All six were Mexican nationals and had entered the country illegally.

They were taken into custody as the investigation is ongoing.

“Despite the ongoing international pandemic, U.S. Border Patrol agents of the Laredo Sector continue to stand at the ready to secure the nation’s borders and prevent the flow of illegal immigration, the exploitation by human smugglers, and the spread of COVID-19,” said CBP in a press release.
