SAN ANGELO, TX -- A 38-year-old woman was arrested after a shooting investigation in the PaulAnn area in northeast San Angelo.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, on June 5, a 38-year-old San Angelo woman was charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon Causes Serious Bodily Injury - Family Violence following a shooting investigation in the 1200 block of Daniel Street.
Police were initially called to the residence by the suspect, Lisa Clemons, for a domestic dispute. During the call, police dispatch received a second call from a neighbor who reported gunfire in the area.
Arriving officers located the victim, a 53-year-old male relative of Clemons, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was reported to have life-threatening injuries. No others were reported injured.
Police said additional charges are pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.
Late last year, the same woman was accused of pistol whipping her husband. During an interview, police said Clemons admitted to striking the victim in the head one time with the pistol.
Police reports are vague about the identity of the victim this time.
