Judge Orders Juvenile Stabbing Suspect to Remain in Custody

ABILENE, TX – After a 15-minute hearing a judge ordered the 16-year-old suspect who allegedly stabbed two of his classmates to remain in custody for two more weeks.

According to KTXS, the judge recommended the suspect stay in custody because he’s considered a danger to himself and others. In a case against an adult the suspect would be granted the option to bond out, but for juveniles that is not the case.

Both victims have been released from the hospital after sustaining serious injuries. One of the victims had four to five deep cuts while the other had serious wounds on his upper body, including a collapsed lung.
