Teenager Arrested for Performing Salacious Acts to a Child at Glenmore Park

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A 17-year-old was arrested yesterday for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old at Glenmore Park. 

According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard, on September 30, the San Angelo Police Department were informed of a child who had cried out that she had been sexually assaulted. 

An officer was dispatched to her location and read text messages that led her to believe that sexual activity had occurred with the person on the other line. 

The child was taken the the Hope House and an interview confirmed that sexual intercourse had occurred when the girl was 13-years-old. 

Then on October 2 the officer met with Timothy Cline, 17, at a residence on Paint Rock Road about the accusations. 

When asked, Cline told police that he had sex with the child at Glenmore Park on August 15. 

He was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and was released this morning at 10:48 a.m. His bond was set at $35,000 and can have no contact with the victim.
