Oil Field Worker Finds Body Near Midland International Airport

MIDLAND, TX -- A body was found this morning by an oilfield worker near the Midland International Airport. 

According to CBS 7, on October 1, the Midland County Sheriff Richard Gillette responded to a dead body at the 9900 block of County Road 1270. 

The sheriff says the body has been identified but are waiting to notify next of kin. 

A woman close to the scene says she is worried about what might have happened to the person. 

MCSO is currently investigating it.
