Gator Caught Wandering City Streets

LUBBOCK, TX -- An alligator was caught wandering the streets of Lubbock on Sunday.

On June 16, the Lubbock Animal Service received a very strange call. It was a report of an alligator that was wandering around 17th and Iola Ave.

When they arrived they in fact did find the alligator. In fact they even found the owner of the gator who is being asked to voluntarily surrendered it to the Animal Service.

According to KLBK, Under city ordinances and Texas law, owning wild animals, including alligators, is prohibited. The only exceptions are for permits explicitly allowing alligators for farming purposes.

If surrendered "Ally the Alligator" will be sent to a sanctuary or be used for educational purposes.

one of our favorite songs growing up was by the Bellamy Brothers.

but, it was called let your love flow.

and at that time, it touched a special place within our hearts, so we could never forget that.

because in the meaning and lyrics of that song, was the idea of tapping into the universal language of love.

airplanes used to disappear down near the bermuda triangle, so if God sent us anyone , it would surely be the Bellamy Brothers.
