Police: Texas State University Student Allegedly Murdered in Apartment Robbery

 

SAN MARCOS, TX -- A Texas State University student was allegedly killed in his apartment during a robbery according to San Marcos Police Wednesday. 

SMPD officials say 20-year-old Aaron Peterman was found dead by a family member in his apartment. 

Police say it appears Peterman died from a single gunshot wound.  The body has been sent to the Travis County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy. 

Texas State University officials confirmed to investigators that Peterman was a student there.
