Orthodontist Indicted for Self Prescribing Pills

ABILENE, TX-- An orthodontist has been indicted by a grand jury for possession of a controlled substance by fraud on Thursday.

Dr. Victor Lynne Lee, 38, is accused of filling prescriptions for himself by using names of his patients, girlfriend, and parents.

On June 22, Lee had called in prescriptions of Xanax and Klonopin for two of his patients. The Pharmacist at CVS found it odd that he had made the prescription for 90 pills with three refills. She refused to fill the prescription, but Lee tried to come pick up the prescriptions anyway.

According to KTXS, Lee's ex-girlfriend told police that he had written her a prescription of flue medicine on March 3, 2017, and when he called the medicine in he also called for Alprazolam and Clonazepam.

Lee also is having charges pressed on him in a separate case involving Lee sending his ex-girlfriends nude photos to her ex-husband.
