SAN ANGELO, TX -- A 40-year-old San Angelo man landed in jail for littering Thursday after he was given a ticket by San Angelo Police.
Gabriel Roy Luna was issued a citation by officers near E. Ave. J and Orient Streets. According to the SAPD, Luna tore up the citation and threw it on the ground. Police say Luna was given several opportunities to pick up the pieces but refused. He was arrested for littering and booked into the Tom Green County Jail. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
This is the second time Luna has been arrested for littering within the last month. Police arrested Luna for littering on Nov. 23 under similar circumstances.

ALVAREZ, JOAHANA- age 28 was arrested for CRIMINAL TRESPASS and POSS/DEL DRUG PARAPHERNALIA Thursday morning after Police were dispatched to the 600 block of E. 21st for the report of an unwanted subject that refused to leave the residence. Alvarez was given several opportunities to leave but refused.
ALVAREZ, JOAHANA- age 28 was arrested for CRIMINAL TRESPASS Thursday evening after she returned to a residence in the 600 block of E. 21st.
ASHLEY, KOLSON AARON- age 21 was arrested for DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED following a traffic stop near E. Beauregard and S. Chadbourne.
GUERRERO, ERIC, Jr.- age 18 was arrested for PUBLIC INTOXICATION, DC- FIGHTING, and two warrants after Police responded to the 2900 block of Sunset Drive for the report of an unknown problem.
HALEY, LONNIE BERT- age 54 was arrested for CRIMINAL TRESPASS after Police were dispatched to the Star Stop at 2902 N. Bryant Blvd. for the report of a criminal trespass in progress.
HERNANDEZ, SHAWN HENRY- age 25 was arrested for PUBLIC INTOXICATION and four warrants (No further information.)
LUNA, GABRIEL ROY- age 40 was arrested for LITTERING near E. Avenue J and Orient after he tore up a citation and threw it on the ground. Luna was given the opportunity to pick up the pieces but he refused.
