19-Year-Old Arrested for Child Pornography

ABILENE, TX -- Abilene police have arrested a man for possession of child pornography.

19-year-old Zachary Wood was arrested Thursday. 

Abilene Police Department reported, "the Abilene Police Department’s Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant in the 3400 block of County Road 320 in Abilene."

In addition to Wood's possession of child pornography, he was also shown to have sent at least one image to another subject, and online solicitation of a minor located in Portland, Oregon. 

Abilene Police report that the parent's of the Oregon child have been notified.

Wood was arrested for second degree felony Promotion/Distribution of Child Pornography and third degree felony Online Solicitation of a Minor.

He has a bond set at $22,500.
