Remains Found in Midland Pit Identified; Murder Suspect Wanted

MIDLAND, TX — The skeletal remains found in the Midland pit in February have been identified. The remains are those of John Iglesia-Alvarez and Ashley Cruz-Rodriguez.

According to NewsWest9, the remains were found in a pit on West County Road 116. The two were reported missing in 2015 after relatives had stated that they hadn’t heard from the two in over three weeks.

Two warrants for murder have been released for Angel Luis Lebron-Rivera, 40, who is also from Puerto Rico. The teens were staying with Rivera prior to their disappearance.

Rivera is no longer in the United States but is considered armed and dangerous.

On these type of stories. Everybody cool.
He was going to start college this next semester.
But he got mad.
He needs a second chance at life.
Maybe JM or SAEP can take him in and get him on the right track again.

But it is an old/new case that is not exactly local. Just in case you thought this was an immigration related case, Puerto Ricans are US citizens since it is a US territory. I suspect that now they have identifiable remains, he'll be caught soon.
