Bond Reduced for Suspect in Murder of Eric Torrez

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A San Angelo Woman suspected for conspiring in the murder of Eric Torrez had her bail reduced on Thursday.

Angella Rebecca Wray, 33, was being held on a $500,000 bond. After appearing before the 119th District Judge Ben Woodward on Thursday, her bond was reduced to $50,000.

The ruling came after 45 minutes of testimony from the family and friends of Wray.

Wray is one of five people arrested following an investigation into the July 21 murder of Torrez.

Stephanie Goodman, the court-appointed Attorney for Wray, says her client is not a flight risk. Goodman would also go on to cite that her client is the only one not charged with murder in this case.

Police say the five people accused lured Torrez from Abilene in a ploy to kidnap his daughter from Abilene.

Torrez was reportedly tied up and beaten before being shot in the head by the accused.
