SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Police Department released more information on the arrests that took place between Friday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan 22. In addition to the robbery, TLCA principal DWI arrest, and the bizarre woman arrest cases (see here, here and here), we noted the more interesting cases.
On Friday, Jan. 20, Bryan Keith Miller, 39, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and for striking a fixture/highway landscape around 7:15 p.m. Police dispatched to the area of Avenue N and South Bryant for a possible intoxicated driver. Miller struck a pole in the 400 block of W Avenue N and was later located in the HEB parking lot.
Also on a Friday, a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested for Disorderly Conduct - Affray (instance of fighting in a public place) and evading arrest detention. This took place around 2 p.m. near the 700 Blk of N. Bryant Blvd.
Finally, Walter A. Murcia, 21, was arrested for sexual assault of a child around 7 a.m. Sunday. Police were dispatched to a residence on Spaulding Street for the report of a sexual assault. A 16-year-old was also arrested for the same offense during the investigation.
This is Miller's 25th arrest in Tom Green County, and Murcia's second arrest.
