San Angelo, Texas - San Angelo Police announced today that its ongoing investigation of the ODIN Firearms Burglary has resulted in additional arrests and another charge for a suspect already in custody.
Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for SAPD, said Garrett Stanley, the suspect arrested on August 19 for his role in the burglary, has additionally been charged with Third Degree Felony Tampering with Evidence.
"Subsequent to the ongoing investigation, Stanley’s 27-year-old brother, Michael Stanley, has been charged with State Jail Felony Burglary of a Building, Theft of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Unlawful Possession Metal Body Armor by Felon, and State Jail Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1," Gonzalez said.
Additionally, 30-year-old Michael Newsome and 28-year-old Levi Garrett Rosser, two acquaintances of the Stanley brothers, were also arrested. Newsome was charged with State Jail Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (Methamphetamine), and Rosser was charged with Third Degree Felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
"The Department’s Criminal Investigations, Street Crimes, and Patrol Divisions and CSI and Crime Analysis Units assisted throughout this investigation," said Gonzalez. "The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives provided assistance with the case and Federal charges are forthcoming."
Detective Noel Anderson is the lead Detective for this case.

What possesses people to think that this would be a good idea on any level? Are they just sitting around and one of them says " Hey Cletus! Let's go rob that gun store!" "Good idea Jethro!" you gotta be completely ate up to do something as stupid as this. Not to mention that the guys over at Odin are good people.
