San Angelo Police Make More Arrests in Stripes Robbery Investigation

 

San Angelo Police reported Monday afternoon that two more suspects were arrested in the Aggravated Robbery case at the Stripes, 1821 N. Bryant, on Jan. 27 at 4:20 a.m.

Sgt. Cade Solsbery, public information officer for SAPD, said investigators identified Magdaleno Suniga Jr.,23, and a 16-year-old juvenile as suspects in the robbery.

“A Juvenile Pick Up Order was issued for Aggravated Robbery for the juvenile male, and an arrest warrant for Aggravated Robbery was issued for Suniga Jr.,” Solsbery said.

On Friday, Jan. 29, at 11:37 a.m., SAPD arrested the 16-year-old on that order during a traffic stop at Cottonwood and Shiloh. He was transported to JJC. Later in the day, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police arrested Suniga Jr. at his residence in the unit block of East Avenue J. He was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Solsbery said the investigation is still ongoing, and no other information is available at this time.
