Friday was the busiest of the weekend for the Tom Green County Jail with regard to bookings, as 35 men and women flowed into and 26 exited the facility. Some of those non-warrant detentions includes four charged with theft, two charged with drug possession and one charged with public intoxication.
On Saturday, jail bookings slowed down to 21, including another four DWIs, two jailed for pot, two charged with possession and two more charged with assault. Twenty-six inmates were released on Saturday.
An even 18 were booked into and released from the county jail on Sunday, to include two each charged with public intoxication and marijuana possession, plus one person apiece booked on charges for DWI, assault and theft.
