Six Jailed on Christmas Day

Six people were arrested Christmas day, half of them were for mind-altering drugs or alcohol. The youngest was 17 years old who was arrested for Minor in Consumption (of Alcohol).  Two of the six had alcohol-related charges; one was arrested for drugs.

The alleged drunk driver accused of performing a destruction derby on Field Street Wednesday was released. Police said that the 23-year-old woman raced down Field Street in a Toyota RAV 4, crashing into a very new Jeep Cherokee and a Dodge Ram 1500 before rolling over a mailbox into a residence’s front yard.DPS booked one sex offender, accused of Sexual Assault of a Child.
