SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on the Houston Harte Expressway sent at least one person to the hospital this Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at about 5 p.m. in the 2800 block of the expressway headed westbound between Garfield and Howard streets.
The San Angelo Police Department issued a Nixle alert at 5:14 p.m. advising the public to steer clear of the area.
An initial report over emergency dispatch indicated a police officer was involved in the crash. However, reporters at the scene observed no visible damage to any vehicles.
The San Angelo Police Department will be contacted for further information.
