Crash on Houston Harte Halts Morning Traffic Near Central High School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Morning traffic was brought to a standstill after a crash in the eastbound 300 block of the West Houston Harte Expressway, in front of Central High School. 

It happened at about 8 a.m. this Friday morning. Police issued a Nixle alert for drivers to avoid the expressway over South Bryant Boulevard shortly after the collision. At about 8:50 a.m., traffic was reopened. 

Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but no serious injuries were reported. 

The cause of the crash is unknown
