One Hospitalized After Jaws of Life Used in San Angelo Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — One person was transported to the hospital Friday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Austin Street

According to San Angelo police, a white Mitsubishi Galant was traveling eastbound on Knickerbocker when it collided with a silver Hyundai Elantra that was exiting a private drive. Investigators are still working to determine which lane the collision occurred in.

 

There was one occupant in each vehicle. The driver of the Mitsubishi was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. No citations have been issued at this time.

 

Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to extract the driver of the Mitsubishi from the wreckage.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area while first responders cleared the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are reviewing any available footage related to the crash.
