SAN ANGELO, TX— A two-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., a major crash was called at the intersection of 19th Street and Armstrong Street. On scene, an orange Dodge Charger was observed with severe front-end damage.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, the Charger was traveling southbound on Armstrong, and a pickup was attempting to make a left turn from Armstrong Street onto 19th Street.

The pickup failed to yield the right of way to the Charger, which then struck the pickup on the passenger side of the vehicle.

A male passenger in the pickup was transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance, and a female driver of the Charger was taken to the hospital by a family member.

The driver of the pickup was cited for failure to yield the right of way and no driver’s license.
