Both Drivers Claim Green Light in Crash, One Hospitalized

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A motor vehicle crash occurred Friday morning at the intersection of South Chadbourne Street and East Avenue L, prompting San Angelo Police to issue a traffic advisory.

Officers responded to the scene around 10: 30 a.m. where a black Cadillac Escalade and a maroon GMC Yukon collided. The driver of the Escalade was traveling westbound on Avenue L, while the Yukon was heading southbound on Chadbourne, police said.

Both drivers claimed they had the green light at the time of the crash, and as a result, no citations will be issued, police said. 

A passenger in the Escalade was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
