Morning Crash Sends 1 to Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Austin Street and West Avenue D on Friday morning.

It happened around 9:20 a.m. Police said a black Ford F-150 was traveling north on Austin Street when it failed to yield at a yield sign and collided with a white Lincoln heading west on Avenue D.

The driver of the Lincoln was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are currently unknown.

Police cited the driver of the F-150 for failing to yield the right of way. The driver of the Lincoln was also cited for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license.

No further details have been released at this time.
