Pedestrian Hit by Pickup Truck in San Angelo, Transported to Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A woman walking along South David Street was struck by a green Dodge pickup truck near the intersection of West Beauregard Avenue on Wednesday, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

This happened around 2:30 p.m. when the pedestrian was walking southbound on the sidewalk when the westbound truck collided with her at the crosswalk.

The circumstances of the incident, including which party may have been at fault, remain under investigation.

The woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. No citations have been issued at this time, police said.

Authorities are reviewing the area and may seek surveillance footage to assist in the investigation.
