17 Texas Students Hospitalized After Two School Buses Crash

 

CLEVELAND, TX — Two Cleveland Independent School District school buses collided Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highways 105 and 321, resulting in 17 students being transported to hospitals for precautionary evaluations.

According to Cleveland ISD, all students and staff involved in the accident were promptly attended to by first responders. Students who were medically cleared were transported to Cleveland Middle School, where nursing staff are monitoring them.

District administrators are in the process of contacting families of the students involved. Authorities are investigating the crash, and updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

Cleveland ISD thanked first responders for their quick assistance.
