Elderly Woman Taken to Hospital After Crashing Into a Tree

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — An elderly woman was taken to the hospital after crashing into a tree Tuesday morning in San Angelo.

It was initially believed the woman hit a parked car, but that was later determined to be incorrect, according to a law enforcement officer at the scene.

The woman pulled over into a parking lot afterward on Edinburgh Road and called 911.

She reportedly suffered lacerations from the crash, but no other information is available about her condition.

State troopers were working the scene, while Sheriff's deputies were assisting.
