SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle crash near San Angelo early Thursday morning left a 10-year-old child and another driver dead, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
It happened just before 6 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 87 and March Road, when a 2022 Ford F-250 pickup driven by Shelton Bailey McDonald, 28, of San Angelo, allegedly ran a stop sign, striking two northbound vehicles.
Rudy Ramos, 41, who was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Spark, and a 10-year-old passenger in his vehicle died at the scene, both pronounced deceased by Judge Speck. Three other occupants of the Chevrolet, including Annie Marie Puga, 30, and two young children, were transported to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries.
The third vehicle, a 2024 Toyota Tundra driven by Rosendo Zapata, 42, of San Angelo, was also struck, though Zapata was uninjured.
DPS troopers are investigating the crash with assistance from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Road and weather conditions were clear and dry at the time of the incident.

IT IS WAY PAST TIME TO REMOVE THIS CROSSOVER.
